Wanton Wednesday- Cupping

August 11, 2010

This Wednesday’s pictures are some of my absolutely favorite. Why? Well, it’s a bit of a story so lets get to it..

The first thing I truly fell in love with when I came out into the community was vacuum cupping. Soon, I wanted more, harder, and faster. I have always regarded vacuum cups as much more intense a sensation than the fire cupping method. Particularly because when I play with vacuum cups, I have them pumped to their maximum capacity- somewhere around 30 pumps (for comparison, I usually do about 3-5 pumps for demos on first timers). At the most, I’ve had about 60 vacuum cups on my body at once (3 full sets) that were pumped as much as they could. I sat zoning out for a good hour.

A few months back, Mr. Rawr did a fire cupping scene with me at the Enclave with 130 fire cups. The difference with fire cupping as opposed to vacuum cupping is that the oxygen is removed from the glass cups via a heat source rather than suction. This means the suction, while certainly strong, will never be the same as a vacuum cup. The sensation of all the cups was nice, but it didn’t put me into any sort of euphoric headspace like cupping often can. Never to disappoint, Mr. Rawr took that as an invitation to take them off in the cruelest way he possibly could. Twisting, dragging, and pulling he made sure to dig the edges of the glass cups into my flesh as he pulled up creating almost a cutting/burning sensation. It hurt for sure. Oh, and he removed each cup one after another, without stopping. The unrelenting sensations sent me into overload… it was delicious.

This week’s pictures are a few that a friend snapped mid scene- the first while I happily sat with all 130 cups on my body and the second as he tore them from my body. The emotions she managed to capture reflect what I hope people see in our dynamic all the time, not just when we play and THAT is why I love them so much…

Happy Wanton Wednesday!!

I haven’t had the opportunity (yet) to do much cupping – and definitely not fire cupping. Even though you can’t see much of your face in that second shot it’s just enough, along with your hands, to show the emotion. Thanks for sharing.

That second picture is really raw! Definitely can see the emotion/feeling in it.

Cupping is so fun, I agree!

Love that first pic – it’s one of my favourites, so it’ll be in my Sunday roundup.
